CHILD REHABILITATION IN CHINA
An integrated medical, rehabilitation and education program designed around each child's strengths, communication and everyday independence.
Talk with our team →A community built for growth
Qianli Youth is an integrated autism medical-education-rehabilitation center in Putian, Fujian. The program brings clinical guidance, individualized learning, daily living practice and family support into one calm, community-based environment.
Children are supported as whole people. Small-group learning, sensory regulation, communication, movement and life skills are practiced across classrooms, homes, activity spaces and the wider community.
Our approach
Progress is measured by meaningful participation, not a single score. Each plan is adapted to the child's abilities, interests and family priorities.
Keep learning active and prevent skills from slipping during the school break.
Practice turn-taking, waiting, sharing and cooperation in real group settings.
Use mindfulness, art and predictable routines to make feelings easier to recognize and express.
Strengthen self-care, time awareness, responsibility and confidence in everyday routines.
Make room for interests, creativity and a positive sense of identity.
The program
A coordinated team works across five connected areas so new skills can transfer from a lesson into daily life.
An individualized plan supports communication, cognition, social participation and fine motor development.
Why it matters: Children learn at a pace and level that respects their strengths.
Games, role play and shared tasks turn social rules into practical, repeatable experiences.
Why it matters: Children practice waiting, sharing and cooperating with peers.
Hygiene, clothing care, mealtime routines and time management are taught step by step.
Why it matters: Confidence grows when children can do more for themselves.
Mindfulness and creative activities give children safe ways to notice, express and regulate feelings.
Why it matters: Predictable support makes new situations easier to approach.
Progress is observed throughout the program and shared through a closing report and practical home guidance.
Why it matters: Families leave with a clearer next-step plan.
30-day winter program
The closed residential program combines integrated rehabilitation teaching with traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage activities. Children build confidence through a predictable rhythm that grows with them.
Build safety, learn the daily rhythm and complete an initial group assessment.
Try heritage activities, take the first learning trip and begin creating a personal project.
Deepen social, emotional and daily living practice while building routines that last.
Rehearse, finish projects and reflect on the skills each child has built.
Celebrate with a showcase, certificates, family sharing and a progress report.
Why families choose Qianli Youth
Medical, rehabilitation, education and psychological support work together around one plan.
The program draws on Swiss rehabilitation experience and adapts it to Chinese families and communities.
A community-based campus connects learning with living, relationships and future work skills.
Children are supported as complete individuals with their own communication, interests and pace.
Clinicians, therapists, educators and residential staff coordinate every child's support.
What progress can look like
In one child-centered program, a multidisciplinary team combined sensory regulation, functional communication, movement and daily living practice. Over time, the child moved from needing full support to using picture communication, following routines and taking part in shared activities.
The goal was never to make the child fit a template. It was to create reliable ways to communicate, participate and feel capable.
A trusted residential setting
Every part of the program is designed to make children feel secure and to keep families informed.
An on-site medical room and trained staff support children throughout the day and night.
Clear procedures cover illness, injury and urgent hospital access.
Dietary restrictions and allergies are documented before arrival, with traceable ingredients and daily food retention.
Comfortable rooms, floor-based staff and regular night checks create a calm, supported stay.
Special educators, therapists, arts teachers and residential staff are trained for behavior and emotional support.
The campus is access-controlled, and off-site learning trips are accompanied by staff in organized transport.
Program information
The winter program runs as a closed residential experience and opens with a minimum of 12 participants. It is designed for children aged 7 and above who have foundational self-care skills.

Before you decide
Families can agree regular video-call times with the team. Staff also share approved updates through the family group so parents can see how their child is settling in.
Please share dietary restrictions and allergy information during registration. The kitchen team will use this information to plan safe, suitable meals.
Staff are trained in emotional support and behavior intervention. They respond early, reduce demands when needed and help children find a safer way to communicate what they need.
Families receive a closing report and home guidance. Follow-up online consultation and in-person services can help carry useful routines forward.
We provide a packing list. Children generally need comfortable clothing, toiletries and suitable sports shoes. Valuables and personal electronic devices should stay at home.
The residential schedule is designed for full participation. The team will explain the communication and visit arrangements for each intake before the program begins.
